Recognized as Atlanta’s only global boarding and day school, Brandon Hall is located on a beautiful 24-acre campus in Sandy Springs overlooking the Chattahoochee River. The school was founded in 1959 and initially began as a school for boys. However, Brandon Hall has evolved greatly over the years, and it is now a thriving co-educational institution that is dedicated to helping students from all walks of life learn to lead lives of leadership, scholarship and service.

Brandon Hall, which is ranked as an A+ School by Niche, boasts 140 students in grades six through 12 who represent more than 20 countries and receive a strong college preparatory education. Small class sizes are a priority, with classrooms averaging only eight students each. The school’s curriculum includes all of the basic areas, from math and English to science and social studies, as well as modern languages, fine arts and physical education. What’s more, Brandon Hall is now recognized as an International Baccalaureate World School, starting with the Class of 2022. The school also offers students the chance to participate in 18 extracurricular activities, including 11 sports teams, robotics, art, theater and more. Additionally, Brandon Hall offers access to more than 20 community service partnerships, a Model United Nations chapter, a student-led Leadership and Diversity Council and a theater partnership with the Atlanta Workshop Players. All of this is available alongside a robust Residential Life Program on a campus that has something for every student. Brandon Hall’s boarding community is marked by global diversity, and the entire student body is encouraged and taught to become successful and community-oriented global citizens who have the social skills they need to flourish in today’s world.
