Winter in Atlanta isn’t always what you think of when the snowy season
comes to mind, but what the South lacks in snowflakes, it makes up for with
holiday enthusiasm and goodwill. With a full range of fun holiday fare, kids
new to the Atlanta area can revel in spectacular light shows, slick skating
rinks, festive trees, raucous parades, New Year’s cheer, hot cocoa,
holiday trains and Santa Claus himself. If you are looking to start a new
southern tradition with your family this holiday season, Atlanta has plenty to
offer in the way of winter fun.

Thanksgiving tradition at the Lenox Square Mall Macy’s, where families
enjoy lights and music after the turkey settles.
